Design
First of all, we have to through design process: scope, content, functionality skeleton and finally presentation. To do that I had to clarify some important points:
• The aim of the portfolio site is to present designs and works in a clear way.
• The target audience are mostly students and teachers, maybe future employees.
• The site will have to run on multi platforms and different browsers. My main focus was on Microsoft Windows and all most popular browsers such as Firefox, IE and Chrome.
• Content for the portfolio site will be mostly text with images but the site should be also ready to present videos and sound files.
• My portfolio site will have also external links to original works and designs.

It is also very important to make an skeleton of the website before actually building it. Skeleton for my portfolio site looks like this:

Implementation

HotGlue has some limitations, especially when it comes to editing particular shapes. I decided to make main elements in Photoshop and paste them to HotGlue site.
Improvements are also very important. Below you can see the first design of the main menu and the improved one.
